Culture
A compliance calendar is a demanding thing to run a company around. What makes it work is a team that has been together long enough to know how each other works — thirty-odd people, on one payroll, across three cities.
How we work
01
Everyone is in-house
Chartered accountants, legal, company secretarial and engineering are all on our own payroll. Nothing is sub-contracted and there is no associate network, which means one point of accountability for your file and the same faces on it next year.
02
The calendar is the culture
The practice runs to a filing calendar rather than against a deadline. That discipline is why the firm has not missed a statutory deadline since it was founded — and why nobody here spends the last week of a quarter firefighting.
03
Three cities, one team
Bengaluru, Chennai and now Singapore. The offices are in different jurisdictions; the team is not divided by them. Work crosses the corridor without being handed over, which is the whole point of having people on both sides of it.
The album
Most of the practice went up to Kalasa, in the coffee country west of Chikkamagaluru — a plantation, a waterfall and a long walk up a ridge.
