The role
What you would do
- Direct tax planning for companies, promoters and family offices
- Capital gains structuring, including section 84 exemptions and slump sale
- Assessment and reassessment proceedings on the faceless portal
- Appeals in Form 99 before the Commissioner (Appeals)
- Section 393 determinations and transfer pricing coordination
What we are looking for
- Qualified chartered accountant with four or more years in direct tax
- A record of positions taken and defended, not only returns filed
- Able to quantify an option in rupees before recommending it
- Comfortable being the person in the room the client asks
